I couldnt reply last night cos my home comy doesnt let me log in for some mad reason.
Right this is the crack for tunes and its not as good as it used to be its gone down hill since 2004.
Get your press of what ever mostly its 500 but its hard as fuck now to sell 500 of anything cos the scene isnt good at the minute and internet doesnt help cos of rips passing about.
If you want pic covers etc etc thats up to you but the extra cost cant be added on the price to the shops.
Shops wont say i will take bla bla bla of what ever now and they wont buy any upfront its got to be SOR sale or return or they wont deal with you.
And now instead of them saying i will take x amount of it they will only take a small few cos of sales being at a all time low on vinyl and if or when they sell they will ring for more.
Keep the price as low as can be cos all these shops that sell tunes for mad prices doesnt help the scene but thats not fully the shops fault its greedy labels aswell who see people paying daft prices for tunes and they want more and to me that killed the scene abit cos kids cant buy £12 tunes all the time and the main sales off records are kids.
You want to be giving the shops them between £3 or £4 SOR.
If you want added sales put a scouse tune on cos a distributer will take some for sale then and that might sell a few in other areas for you a uk distributer wont take our kind of rave only uk hardcore you will lose a £1 per tune cos they will make that but they could sell a canny few for you that you wouldnt sell normaly.
Ands thats about it really.
We are thinking about letting people have a bonus track on some of our release on naughty tunes or hangar 13 labels say like local talent who have made a half decent tune but wont ever do out with it or cant afford to do out with it.
Let me know how you get on with the record and any more help just ask.

cheers , that woz exactly wot i woz expectin rly like , a wudnt dare sell my stuff for 12 quid tho never , unless it woz a picture disk wiv a gold plated rim
as for the scouse tune , ive started a remix ov "enjoy the silence" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd7y6A-5uTY) wivowt vocals tho that wud be criminal n i have a m8 who produces scouse so i mite make a skeleton track then pass it to him to finnish coz i hate the stuff, or u cud do one if ya wanted like , a think the remixes hav to stop personally and many agree , its all represses and remixes n thats got to affect the scene, producin rave is a startin point for me , i jus wanna gain experiance b4 i move on to bigger things
and as for the bonus track i wud do it reet but theres no way am goin to sign away me tune that i made , nee way , i actually love these songs n am not givin them away , well sayin that av never herd ur "terms n conditions" but av herd f a c t o r i a s , id rather press it meself n it not sell than to see it sell n me see fuck all ov it haha maybe thats wot id have to do to proove meself but ill worry bout that if it happens , a cant do nowt wiv beat back yet anyway am still waitin to see if a can clear the lynx advert sample even tho a massive copyright case wud help promote it like , but thatll be the end b4 ov me carerr b4 it even started
so SOR , how many wud u take if i were to offer u it , like 5,10.15.20? a jus want a ruff idea , if i got 5 shops all takin 25 thats 100 ordered , that mite help get the business loan or will it? how did u start the hangar 13 label, woz that owt ya own pocket or wot?
soz bout all the questions like haha

We would have no rights to tunes that people make if we decided to put a few up & comings tunes out its all theres still and it would only be on if they wanted to do it.
It really for people who have made a half decent track that will never really see the light of day otherwise.
If we did this it would be only to help people get a name and to try and push the scene abit the northeast isnt know as a producers area.
We dont need to put other peoples tunes on releases between us who do the label theres plenty of tracks to go on them.
Forcer had a tune on 1 of nemesis releases monk fish doesnt owen that forcer is still the 1.

No the tune is yours its only not yours anymore when you sign it to a label its theres then.
The college wont even know how much of a bad state the record or dance scene is in todays markets but its in the course and you have to learn it.
Like i said its just a idea cos i have a few friends who make the odd 1 and they wont ever do out with them cos of the money to pull out for a press and the tune might not even sell so they just leave there tunes collecting dust.
I can remember moonie when he had his shop in shields a lad came in with a box of tunes on white it wasnt a bootleg or out his own thing its wasnt top notch but wasnt that bad and when moonie closed about a year later he still had everyone left didnt sell 1 the kid never even came back to see how they went aswell.
People can say i buy it or a swop 1 or what ever but people talk the talk and its mostly shit if i had every person in hangar who said they were going to go i would be turning 100s away every time.
Record sales is very little profit but it can and does get you dj gigs to make up for little profit on tunes and sometime remix work but records are only here now to promote you unless you come out with a big hit thats going to sell 1000's but that isnt going to happen with rave style.
If a distributer wasnt selling half my press cos its got scouse on then i wouldnt be pressing stuff now cos only half would sell.
You might be best making some cheap cds up and selling them to the people who say they want them but it will end up for free download on many sites once its out thats the killa these days.

aye a suppose like but thers stil loads owt ther who want vinyl like , its not even about the money rly a jus want summit back thats all , n like u says wud help me get gigs n that even that wud be summit but i havent even got me decks ere there at me ex's still n i havet tuched them for 3 months n i havent got the confidence at the minute like , ill get a cuple ov hundred done nd take the risk, thats half the fun anyway in my eyes , if its rly nee good then ill jus start makin commercial stuff , but ive allways wanted to release at least 1 rave tune , listenin to most scouse tunes they are proper horrendus so a mite make a scouse tune like , my style
