It would be a bit difficult, the place was a fucking dump.

Not doubting the quality of the music and atmosphere that came from the place, that was excellent - but any club that you nearly break your ancle by putting your foot through a floor board beacuse of woodworm shouldnt be opened back up.

Unless someone wants to invest a bit of money into The Colloseum and bring it back to top notch standard - Id be up for that :D

It could never happen man the colo is gone.it wouldnt be the same cos music changed and everything.What ya could do is try to organise a colo night at the monkey get davey mal to talk to all the old mcs (techno t has to be there) and djs like daz attack charlie n selector c and have a no makina music policy.I love makina but its took over too much its all that gets played these day.Oh and somebody should smuggle in some oldschool pills from the dam haha so the colosseum buzz is there cos the pills these days aint upto the colos standard.haha swicked

its not jst all the mcs n djs at the coll wot were wkd, iv herd the atmosphere was spot on, which is a big part ov what rave is about, the type ov music played is jst wots popular at the tym, like makina is now, but the munky does need 2 vary styles a bit more. it would be wkd 2 av the colo back bt rave has changed alot since then n it would b hard 2 av another private members club in the area the colo was, coz ov the bizzies but it would b class to hav the same atmosphere from the colo in the munky, coz the munky is 2days proper rave like the afterdark n colo were etc n has been open 4 ages, get a colo nite at the munky sortedd! :D

Shut Down Years Ago 2 Floors, Yeah It's A Bit Fuc Ked But The Rents Only £40,000 A Yr As Its Been Up For Sale/rent For So Long.

It Would Need The Work Done On It, But The Amount U'd Save On Rent U'd Coin It All Back In If Ya Did A Allnighter. Teesside Is Central To The North East Scene.

You cant bring things back from the dead simply as! The Colosseum was a wicked club but that was 8-9 years ago. The scene was different, it was new. What you experience today is only 10% of what we did back then. This is not just my opinion its fact!

Anyway the Colosseum is now being used by a religious group, it will never be a club again.

If any of you took time to find out the history of the rave scene you will know the Colosseum used to be the Blue Monkey before it changed names. The people behind the New Monkey obviously have connections with the Colosseum. Not difficult to work out.

They were also involved with the After Dark. One of there djs was a young lad called Scott. After a few fall outs he went away and started his own night "Hangar 13" you might have heard of it?

This is the reason djs and mcs dont work for both venues and also why the Hangar wont do a Colosseum night.

Everything only has a certain life span and music is no different. The Colosseum has been and gone. R.I.P.

The Eclipse Was In Stockton, On A Road Just Off Dovecot Street.

Very Close To Where Energize Is Now.

Before It Was The Eclipse It Used To Be A Club Called Bentleys Which I Think Was A Big Club In Its Time, But Never Used To Be A Rave Or Nowt Like.
