Personally I think Sporting Lisbon had Newcastle all over the place. They didnt play as well as ive seen em before. Ameobi seems 2 be really slow when he gets the ball although hes good at marking Shearers player to let him go 4 the ball when theres a free kick into the goal area.

Cant believe Dyer turned down a penalty. :eek: Ref was pointing at the penalty spot dont think he realised though. Guess he just wants to keep a good name after all the shit wi bowyer. I think dyer played pretty well last night . seemed to be one of the few players who were actually going for the ball n as soon as they got it doing something with it instead of keep playing passy wi the goalie!

I reckon its gonna be 1-1 when we go over there next week.

lol i know not many lasses (or lads in fact) that i know like watchin footy or arent really arsed about it. i only like watchin when newcastle are on or england if they are important games. think its coz me family all love footy well most do. me n me mam r probs the only lasses that like watchin em play. was gutted on both goals (the disqualified 1 n all) i missed em both. 1st 1 when shearer scored but ref hadnt blown his whistle for the free kick i had me mams b/f standing right in front of the tele talking about summit (think he was griefin jenas n ameobi n goin on bout how kluivert wud be doing 100x better than ameobi!) n 2nd 1 me mate rang 2 see what i was doin at wkend. all i heard was me mam screaming get in!!!!

aye me mams b/f was saying it was good that we kept a clean sheet otherwise that wud have counted as 2 goals against us if they scored. just hope we score 1 next week. cant see them scoring 3 if we score 1 (well im hoping they dont). just hope they get their act 2gether 4 next weeks match!

aye a know thats what we were all saying in mine last night when we watched it on replay a couple of times. shearer, robert n ameobi practice that 1. robert takes the free kick ameobi blocks his n shearers marker shearers left free to run n get the ball 2 the back of the net!! quality!
