Two hard drives

Anyone know how a can put another hard drive on me computer .. if anyone can give is step by step instructions like it wud be appreciated :P cos am thick as fuck haha. Nar but a also heard that a can send static electricity through the hard drive n damage it or summit even when its not on :17432: Any help cheers

take the little pin out the drive you want to install and put it on slave

Tried it like .. a load of shit came up on the screen when a turned it on wouldnt even load up proply like so a just pulled it out didnt want to be braking it or out an the HD looks different to the one on that website burny there is like 11 little pins around the jumper and a havent a clue which one is the slave like cheers anyway

They are easy enough to install .. look on the back and there should be some pin s and two will have a plastic sleeve on (A JUMPER) read the instructions that came with it or it might indicate it on the back of the hard drive where it says to put the jumper on the pins for master and slave... wack it on slave because you want it as a slave to your exsisting master hard drive ...connect it to a power connecter from your mother board and also plug an IDE or SATA cable into it from your motherboard.

Load up windows using your existing install of windows and the new hard drive will need to be formatted / partitioned before you can start using it I think Windows has a program or option where u can do that or u might need some software to do it.
