think the votes prolly a bit biased, all the people who are gonna vote are gonna be involved in the rave scene now (which is generally at quite a young age, so not been to colo and that) and only vote for raves avout at the mo, like hanger and monkey. i dunno, im not gonna vote coz ive not been to all those clubs...

i have to say all the club's in this poll are good in some way . it depends on wich club's you whent in wich year you were a raver . i was bort up on blue monkey tape's and afterdark in sundrland and vunue tapes an all so the old powerhouse tape's and colloseum tape's they were all good in some way .

i think you can only call a sertan club's 1 is if people from all over the uk go to that club :D

hangar @ mcewans, new music, good djs who made an effort to play something different everytime, and also cause it had a relaxed atmosphere and less agro, and less SHOUTING from more professional MCS.

well i only being into the rave scene nearly a year, and ive checked out me mates older tapes and listened to the collesseum n afterdark stuff on the buzz audio

but for me the best club is Hangar :D wkd choons better dj's and mc's, no disrespect to any1

There are a lot of clubs that I have been to thay wipe the floor with these clubs, IMO, such as Rezerection, FUBAR, Hanger 13 (Original Ayr), Metro etc.

I actually choose The original Afterdark as I loved that place, but I would say that Hysteria should have been up there not a massive legened in clubbing, but They played alot harder than The Venue which was just down the street, Screw the cheese was all I could say

The ultimate superclub in the North East would definatly be The Havanna, closely followed by The Eclipse Stockton, allnighters Friday, Saturday and even Sunday, what more could a pill popping addict ask for :)

aye i agree with ya there refrence the after dark
but theres a lot of clubs/nights missing from the vote
my era was the blue monkey afterdark ,eclipse, philmores venue etc
each had its own style of music and atmosphere throughout my 'ravin' days
and each one was unique
i hear kids coming on hear wishing they went to the coloseum,but for me (and this is only my opinion)it killed the vibe and the scene ,with its cheezytunes,! and people like myself grew bored ,prehaps it was down to the lack of clubs at the time in the north east,
but what is good now is that the scene has picked up and moved on in a new format

The New Monkey is the boyo of all of them the layout is the ultimate layout and the sound system is fucking amazing the times (11.30-7.30) is harsh as fuk but if u don't tak drugs go to sleep during the day lol! better than any other rave club!!!

The venue was my 1st experience at a rave early 1994 walking in the place for the 1st time with selector c' on the dex just blew me well away the atmosphere was amazing!
.......But i remember a night in the colloseum well after the venue burn't down..T'was totally unreal man,1-3-97 Dj Destiny,Mc Psyco, Dj Creation & mc Nrg were on totally rocked the place to the max i have never heard such banging sets in all my time at a rave.10/10
