think its all down to raving politics, am not 100% but everyone seems to think scott and davey had a fall out (at a guess wud say its down to the hangar, scott used to run the afterdark as matrix does the monkey now, sorting out the line ups etc, and id imagine he wouldnt be happy with the hangar opening on a saturday b4 the monkey etc, as its bound to effect the door takings at the monkey innit - but thats just pure speculation) i think a few altermatums were spat about, once scott was out of the monkey / afterdark scene, think it cud of been a case of like if ya play for him then ya dont play for us no more (to make people make a choice, but alot of them were mates together, so that could be a main reason why they stuck together) Ive spoken to people like attack, and he's very anti-monkey, wont do nowt associated with it directly. I know techno-t did stay on after the split for a while, but finished end of 2001, and i think he just couldnt be chewed with doing all nighters no more or he may of stayed on.

like most fall outs, its only between the people who fall out, and unless they wana make it public then ya can only guess. I know thought from the horses mouth, when dj direct decided he was gonna start doing the hangar he had matrix on his case pretty quickly before it was even public knowledge kicking off a bit over it, and davey mal got in touch, wardy telt us his words were like well if ya want to do the hangar its alright ya welcome back up at the monkey anytime, just dont bring ya tunes no more :eek:

think it was said just to put him off, but kinda had a opasite effect and when they knew he was gonna do the hangar no matter what, they retracted it and let him do both, but direct dont the monkey no more as i dont think he can be arsed no more with it. he cut right down to just when he could get a good lift up, but now i think he's bored of it and just sticks to the hangar instead, better set times, and probs alot better wages than the 25bar he got up at the monkey. which is nowt when ya dont have ur own transport to get there and back

aye the orginals, were probs sick of doing the all nighters, they have been doing since 95 if not before so doing allnighters for any amount of years will take the toll on anyone thats one reason why they quit...

another reason was the fall out between monkey & hangar, i suppose the orginals were better mates with scott and wanted to work for him instead of the monkey, there was other personal reasons between some dj's/mc's who work for the hangar now and the monkey which is unfair to discuss on websites...stuff behind the scenes
