i never thought that a night out in the tunnel club at south shields would be the start of ,what has been, the best days of my life.
from the tunnel club to the original after dark, i used to live for the weekend. i was just clubbing then, the boyo's were excel, destroy, richie-p and selector-c. g-force was the man on the mic along with rocking robbin(selector-c,s brother)
at that time i was'nt really interested in m.c.ing. it was'nt untill i started going down to diztruxsion in yorkshire. natz, jd walker, motivator and marcus, " NOW THERE WAS INSPERATION".they worked with the music, as well as visualy entertaining, and their lyrics had a positive meaning.
my first gig was the underground TIMEZONES that we were doing in consett at the time. jimmy g-force started giving me the mic in the original after dark,( cheers jimmy, respect ya mate)
from there it was the venue, colloseum, oz and loads more, the rave scene was buzzin then.all the m.c,s stood out those days, each with there own original styles.............g-force,,,,,,the un-stoppable -attack ., the young m.c. stompin. i hear other names being mentioned who were around at that time, whatever..jimmy g-force,..daz attack,..danny stompin were the boyo,s and dont let any one else try to tell you different.(i,m refering to the north east scene)
after the colloseum i worked at the after dark 2 with a d,j. who i threw off the stage at the colloseum. i knew he would never amount to much,,,,,,,,,,
o.k.,,,,,,,so he,s d.j,ed all over the country,
as well as spain,
he,s also run one of the most sucessfull events the north east has ever seen,
and..owns a massive record supply and distribution bissiness

a man its been my pleasure to call my freind.
14 years i,ve done the m.c. thing....and after boxing day and new years eve, its over.i havent ruled out guest spots in the distant future, but even if i do it will never be the same, its been good but the gigs over.
i,m looking forward to the boat, trance troopers set with scotty,,,,,,old school set with stompin, selector ,steve nrg. and finish off in style with my family, reaper jet,k.c. the timezone crew.

i was in bands for about 14 years and i felt like i had taken the music as far as it could go, the rave/trance was like a natural musical progression were there was more to work with. also, there was a long of negative lyrics involved when i was in the band, as an m.c. it gave me a chance to turn things around with a lot more positive lyrics, ... sort my karma out..:)
