we produce mainly with - YAMAHA RS7000 music production studio ( it sounds more like a motor bike than a production studio ) but am sure you know what it is.
any help on how to use the intergrated sampler would be gratefull.
we have other smaller machines aswell and a yamaha key board , i have not used cubase yet but i would like to give it a try as some of the sounds on it are decent.
but yes see mark and ask if he still has the cd and take a listen to my track (called turbotech) and let me know what you think of it.

yeah its not a bad machine, although i wud prefer to use a standalone synth along with something like cubase... until i have the funds for a nice studio am stuck wth reason(virtual... but very real module studio) and fruityloops i dont think i'll ever go fully away from software there you gave that little extra freedom! be listening 2 ur track in a few mins ;)

ive seen fruity loops before but its not what i like working with, with the yamaha and other machines its more of a hands on approch (my opinion).
let me know what you thought of my track mate -- CHEERS !!!

its not a bad choon mate, i likle the start especially, n that horn kinda sound effect is cool. at parts it seems to be repetative but with a little more work it could be class! the melody n everything is there just needs to put into a bit more use! nice 1 :)
just so u no, i aint slating your choon, but when i giv a review i always giv ways it could be improved ;)

CHEERS MATE BUT DO YOU RECKON IT WOULD SELL IF I WAS TO ADD THE FINISHING TOUCHES ETC ?
AND WOULD IT GO DOWN WELL IN THE N.E CLUBS (rave) ?
LET ME KNOW PAL !! COS JONESY SEEMS TO THINK ITS WORTH A SHOT AND TO BE HONEST ITS BETTER THAN SQUARE RECORDINGS VINYL THEY BROUGHT OUT (my opinion ) whats yours ?

7th September 2004, 11:35 PM
yeah well as i said, with a little extra work it would be a good choon i liked the start alot but as it goes through it gets a bit repetitive... cut that short or do something with it and ya sorted. i quite liked the square recording track although it goes no where in the sence of a build up. it would make a good track if the likes of sy remixed it yours wud go down much better in a place such as the monkey tho.
