now, im not only talking about the old records, which are expensive as everyone knows. i'm also talking about the new releases - what a joke. compared to other styles of music ie trance and hard house makina is very expensive! about 7 quid a record at least sometimes up to 13 quid what a piss take! it costs about 3-6 quid for a normal record thats twice as much
i know this is because it has to be imported and relatively there is little demand for it, but theres a few shops now which sell the stuff but they dont seem to be competing at all! ie turbotrax is relatively new, but sells its records that are 8 quid in makina for 13 quid, whats going on there?? aren't they supposed to be trying to get more buisness by selling cheaper?
i'm getting annoyed now coz it costs about 100 quid a month or something stupid if you want to get the latest tunes, its cheaper if you import them yourself, im sure the shops should get transport cheaper in bulk surely?? some1 help me out here, are the shops just taking the piss??

Makina is getting more popular and theres a lot of people becoming bed room djs you would think that by now the shops would of relised this hopefully the next few years will bring the rave scene across the whole uk and more lower prices :D
LoL for now we should all go on strike by not buying any records from the shops till the prices are lowered :p

if yer willing to search around u can find sum tunes a hell of a lot cheaper from ppl in spain. i only really buy from the buzz shop, makina and me contact in spain... shes shit hot for tunes and reasonably cheap prices too.. was taking bids on overflow a few weeks back.. the bids started at 8quid (no bullshit)... and ended up selling for 40quid which is still cheaper then u'd pay here for it..

It is a complete piss take.
how much is united ep1 in makina? bout £13?
I got a copy from www.juno.co.uk for £6. They are in the UK as well, so they must have imported it.
Its just pure greed.
And as for HMV's imports.... most are between 6 and 10 quid.
