Whats everyones DJ set up? just like to know as i've just ordered a LOAD of new stuff and want to show off hehe. Theres prolly a lot of people out there who can shut me up tho, show ya stuff :D

set up atm:
2 x technics 1210's mk2
1 gemini PS540i
ortofon DJ carts

in post:
2 x technics 1210 mk5
stanton smx 501 - 3 channel hybrid mixer

gonna keep one of me old technics and have 3 decks! wicked, look out haston and javi haha

Yeah they are, Diamond 8.1 Pro Active... 150 Watt!
They have a nice sound, canny pleased with them!

I prefer these, but I didn't have the extra cash...

Got those ones from the old record shop mate was gonna cover the walls with em but doesnt make sense if there behind stuff.As for the records,been buying hardcore for about 10 years,never really punt any the decent stuff.Only recently ive sold a few things I didnt want.

Rites, Wynder are them faceplates? Or is that a propa paint job?

I was going to get a pair of faceplates but the make your decks look bulky,
and it prevents you from touching the bottom of the platter... So haven't bothered...

paint job, bought them like that, payed over the well over the going rate on buzz though on ebay, but they had new pitches, sprayed, blue leds that unfortunately blind ya, & thicker enforced phono leads on the back

My old man was meant to be making my a deck stand... never did though haha, they are currently resting on top of the box my TV came in haha, hardly get any use these days like

As for my PC it was an old desk i re-jigged so the chair could fit in the centre some minor joinery skills haha

Nice one Jord, I'm gonna get meself 2 new Stanton cd decks sometime next week, would have got pioneers but i need to keep some money for when i go to Zante, that decks stand set me back 225 quid but TBH it's worth every penny, it's massive & safe as out, i have about another 250 tunes stored on a shelf underneath, so it holds loads of records aswell.

Got a numark axis 9 cd deck to but its not set up cos i hate switching from phono to like and barely use it. easy plugged in like. i need a desk mines a old kitchen bench haha and its got pictures on i drew when i was 12 of the bit music man in marker hahaha

They arnt as bad you made out like. decent for scratching on and have some good effects on them. can hold mixes tight as fuck. never had any problems with it. what more can ya want for the price tbh thats the way i look at it. i dont use it enough as you can se its not even set up lol

Bri where did you get your slipmats from, i might get some like that but with the Sunderland badge on lol, i remember one of your old set up's in a thread, sure it was the one where you had to vote who's was the best set up, it was class the other one.

im tryin to drill scratchin into me properly. using the roll to loop a 2 bar scratch then cuttin it up with the beat parameters is good if u can get the scratch right

impressive, will be givin me djm 800 a whirl with software when i get somethin
