I've been with my boyfriend about 9 months or summat and we love each other so much, we have a house together and do everything together, its great but theres one thing that does my head in, before he got wi me he had split from his ex who he has 1 kid to, he made a mistake and slept with her once and she sprug a pregnancy on him and decieded she wanted the baby no matter what he said, they have definatly split and he says he could never go back to that cos of what he has got with me, shes recently had the baby and he wants to be in its life which i understand its just fryin me to bits ....Is it rite that me and him are together and that he has a part in his kids life to? Wat would you do?

Dont stand in the way of a father having a relationship with his child. Every child deserves to have 2 parents, its unfair if the parents mess this up. I know its hard, but if he slept with her once then im sure they werent in love like you two are so he wont be thinking of the child as a gift of their love. He will only be thinking that he's the Dad and should be there for the child. Im sure his ex is worrying that you are going to try and be like a Mum to the child, which would worry me if me and my lad split up and he found someone else

I can only express my opinion, the rest is up to the three of you. You have said how happy you both are, why not keep being happy together but let the childs Dad make the child happy aswell

Im sorry you are in this position hun, i cant imagine what its like but if me and my lad ever do split up i really hop he stays in regular contact with Chloe because he is her Dad and no one can replace him

Thanks for that make me know its right, ya know when ya unsure of something because you worry wat other poeople think? well am deffos sure now, im stickin wiv him and hopefully it'l all work out for the best?! i wouldnt stand in the way of himand his kids, i havent yet an im not going to as long aswe stick to the routine we've got!

its sweet, if u trust ya lad then its all good, ive been goin with my lass for 1yr a half and she has a kid whos 2 yrs old, the father still sees my lass to drop the bern off and that but its ok for me now. at first i was boiling everytime she spoke to him but thats past now and im sweet about it. i dont even think about anymore.

it will just take time thats all.
