Would be a great signing if he can stay fit but his injury record worries me a bit. Also, i'll believe it when i see it cos i reckon we're just being used by Chelsea to hike up the price, then we'll probs get Wright-Phillips. I get wot ya saying canwell but what we need more than anything is someone with pace who can beat defenders and get in behind teams, we had a great target man last season (Alan Shearer) and we still struggled to score goals because he didnt have a pacy strike partner.
Owen is out for a long time so forget him, he will probly never be the same again after that injury anyway. I've had a cruciate ligament operation and i'm nowhere near as quick or strong as i was before and Owen's injury is worse than mine.
