Truthfully i don`t like it there, not the venue but the dickheads who go there to cause trouble ( the 1s who have there tracksuit bottoms tucked into there socks) i`ve never had ne trouble yet but when it first opened there me and my mates (all from redcar) all took different taxi`s and there was about 40 lads outside and they started on them they got glassed etc and 1 of them didn`t show up until about 6am as he had to go to hospital.I hope they keep away as it`s the last thing you want when going to a dance event so my warning to n e 1 who goes there is go with a couple of mates as they target people who are on there own or the 1s who look young.They will try and do ya before you go in or the 1s (tracky`s tucked in2 there socks) who have the money to get in look 4 possible victim`s to target. BE CAREFUL!!!!

I never went to powerhouse @ the arena so was looking forward to it as I always liked going to the arena years ago.

Hopefully the problems tony pointed out wont happen. Thats just the sort of shit u don't need and just spoils these events all together for the majority of us.

I thought it was spot on at the arena like nice and dark more like a rave should be tru about the dick heads like i seen a lad get glased in the toilets and seen oggy get briked by about 20 kids fucking madness man and yeah its been dun out i think the powerhouse is in the down stairs now like coz i seen ppl using that as the entrance last friday - - so who knows?

The next event at the Arena (7th August) will be the first after the re-furbishment. The whole venue has been cleaned up, new toilets etc. A new sound and light system has been installed and a new DJ stand.

We have discussed problems which we had at previous events and hopefully with extra security there should be no problems.

Flyers for the events and full line ups will be out this week.

I hope this is true, like i stated it`s the local dickheads(scum) that wait round the corner and in front of the venue that is going to get the event closed down and like i said the dickheads(scum) who have there tracksuit bottoms tucked into there socks are the 1s who go to the event and cause the trouble, look out for them as the people who are there having a good time will end up getting kicked out,due to defending themselfs then the 1s who can`t get in(wether they have the money or look to young) are going to take advantage of it.Like i stated earlier they target people who are on there own ( i always go on my own if no1 else comes with me been doing it since i used to go to the afterdark ) or the 1s who look young.I`m not trying to get people not to go there i`m just warning people as n e 1 who went there or has witnessed it will know.I hope everything goes like the way it should be even if it means putting security on the front, back and inside making sure every1`s safe is the main priority as it`s the good decent people who should be having a good night.DONT LET THEM GET THE EVENT CLOSED DOWN!!!! :)

The Arena was not closed down for fighting or trouble. It was closed for re-furbishment.

The downstairs club re-opened a few months back, the upstairs re-opens in a few weeks.

aye, a went to the first event at the areana and the dj sy one and a think there was a spot of trouble at the first 1 am not 2 sure peopleare blowing it out of proportion. but it aint tha bad, it was an unbelievable atmosphere and the first event 4th october was the best nite at a rave av ever had!!!

can a strongly recomnend u do another powerhouse reunion nite like u's did for the first,! it was class, but this time try to get full ****** there, have attack agen bushby, stompin and techno t, or maybey ngo even further back n get dj marty back n the scene, try n maske the powerhouse nites varie lately they have been gud but its all bin the same, monkey/hanger djs with a little bit of hardcore from flipside n mayhem, still quality tho, make the powerhouse the ultimate nite, do more than wat clubs do these days try n bring back live PAs thats what makes a nite. just a litytle to think about there just my opion like
