theres another way to get it on 2 a c.d.!!!

if u have a mic for ya pc, plug it in then go on to windows movie maker. there should be a picture of a little mic.
click on the picture and it will say start and stop narration.
play ya tape and click start narration.
the once its on wen ya click on it to play it through after it says at the side copy 2 c.d. then ya sorted.
if ya havnt got a mic for ya pc ya can always use ya headfones of ya decks lol!!!

the hard way to do it, well the longest, but to get the best quality would be this:

1) first download sony soundforge, trial (search sony soundforge 7.0 on google ;))
2) get yaself an AUDIO LEAD (its a lead with 2 amps on either side)
3) plug the audio lead into ya mic socket in the back of your computer, and then plug the other end into the HEADPHONES socket on ya hi-fi
4) go to soundforgorge and click the record buton and get yaself ready
5) play the tape, turn it down to stop it clippin, and sit back relax and wait!
6) once youve got the file recorded onto soundforge, go to file... save as... then save it as wma. or mp3. (best to use wma. cos u only get limited mp3's :P)
7) once you have it saved make sure u give it a decent file name, but it auto saves as SOUND 1, SOUND 2 etc.....
8) Once youve dun this, go onto your disc writing program and get it burned to a disk!

there ya go, thats the easiest and best way to rip a tape onto ya pc!! i use it all the time, btw, an audio lead costs sumit lyk 3 quid for a decent one, mins about 3 meters and it cost is 3 pund so u nar, decent quality decent price :P, you can find them at most electrical shops, like matlands at the metro center ;)

Its a full time job for someone to sit there and record all of the tapes and i've got no time to do it, so thats why we say CD as it only takes us 2mins to transfer to the Internet. If someone wants to make some money, why dont you offer a service to people who cant get their demo onto CD. Charge about £3/£4 per tape, then send the CD back to them through the post.

We will easily get about 100 entries, so thats £300/£400 quid someone could make. If your interested in providing this service, start advertising it on here now! Leave your name and address for people to send their tapes to.

If the DJ is shit hot and the MC is shit hot and they just happen to be on the same demo then there's a chance they will be entered into the rounds. But there's no gaurentee that DJ will be on the same set as the MC in the competition itself.
