Re: best fight ever check this out *
Over the strong objections of a defense lawyer, a judge set bond at $100,000 for one of seven teenagers charged in the beating of a teenage boy seen kicked, dragged and punched on a video posted on YouTube.
17 year-old Raymond Palomino of the 3500 blk of S.Hoyne was charged as an adult with two felonies of robbery and aggravated battery. Six other teenagers were also charged with robbery and aggravated battery, they are charged as juveniles. They are two 16-year-old boys, three 15-year-old boys and a 15-year-old girl.
Prosecutors said Palomino and the five male juveniles convinced the girl to lure the victim into an alley where the others were waiting to beat him.
The footage is picking up a lot of attention on the internet. The video was not only shot by one of the attackers, it was posted to YouTube by one of them as well. The video is being watched all over the world.
In it, a Curie High School student is cornered by 6 masked teens. They threatened to kill the boy and told him he's being robbed. The attack happened Sunday afternoon inthe 2800 block of South Pershing in the Bridgeport neighborhood.
The attackers make off with his coat, wallet his shoes and maybe more.
There has been an enormous response from social media; people commenting came forward with names and addresses online.
The video, while difficult to watch, has turned out to be a helpful tool for investigators.
The teenage victim suffered cuts and bruises to his body. He was treated at Mercy Hospital and is now recovering at home.
No motivate for the attack was given by prosecutors..
