    Default Vinyl Cleaning

Im sick of spending ages trying to clean the records I buy from discogs with a spray and a cloth (which just seems to spread the dirt about), so Ive just ordered one of these bad boys

    https://spincleanrecordwasher.com

It was a toss up between that and the Knosti version. I didnt like the idea of using the clamp and drying wrack with the knosti, as I thought there was more chance of me dropping or scratching the records

    Anyone used either of them?

Me Mrs has said she値l give me the spin clean for christmas, so unfortunately wont be able to use it until then :( Gutted

Hi Pete this will help with cleaning obviously. The best ones are the oki nokki but they are very expensive. I agree I知 no expert at cleaning vinyl but the cloth and spray method isn稚 great. Let me know how you get on with this.

Sorry for being a bit radged with the detail but at the minute I am using this cloth and fluid which Ive found are pretty decent

    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F310324756304

The issue is when I get a vg looking record (sold as >vg+) which looks dull and has prints or noise etc on it. If it plays sh!t I try and clean it which may require a decent amount of fluid

When I play it again the amount of sh!t my needle picks up looks like Im ploughing a field. It isnt doing my stylus any good, and wiping it again with the cloth seems like I値l rub the dirt in again

Do you get the same or are you doing stuff differently?

Yeah exactly that痴 why the professional cleaners work best but having said that 」450 for an oki nokki is only for record dealers and mega enthusiasts. Your little device will be spot on I知 sure Pete and a lot better than cloth n wipe haha
