There will be a massive selection of music genre's that the northeast know and love from the biggest artists in the scene, as well as the opportunity for some up and coming talent to get involved.

What is a Podcast?

A podcast is basically a new way of distributing media files across the internet. The beauty of it is that you will automatically receive updates as soon as they become available, you don't need to go looking for the newest files. You can take the media with you on the move and listen wherever and whenever you like.

You can "subscribe" to receive a podcast, rather like you might subscribe to a magazine and get it delivered each week. All of our podcasts are free, and you can stop receiving the files at any time. If you'd rather not subscribe, you can download episodes of a podcast series individually.

In order to subscribe to a podcast, you need a piece of podcast software. Once you have installed this software, it will check our feed for new episodes and automatically download new episodes for you.

You can then listen to podcast episodes on your computer, or transfer them to a portable device, such as an mp3 player.
